Metis Strategy wanted to expand its reach into the venture capital ecosystem. the firm already had Technovation, a 1000+ episode tech leadership podcast with strong brand equity. the challenge was creating a distinct series that leveraged that equity without diluting it.

the new show needed its own identity, format, guest pipeline, and launch strategy. it also needed to fit within the existing RSS feed and website architecture without confusing the audience.

naming & brand identity

developed the "Technoventure" name and visual identity, validated by external branding partners Branding Business and Shatterproof. distinct color palette, show art, and logo that align with Technovation while standing on their own.

competitive landscape analysis

mapped the VC podcast space to identify positioning opportunities. informed branding, format, and differentiation strategy.

show format & description

designed the episode structure, cadence (biweekly), and show description. tagline: "nothing ventured, nothing gained."

website architecture

planned the full site structure: new podcast landing page, separate overview pages for each series, episode tagging system, and filtered feeds.

knowledge management

built Airtable infrastructure with unified podcast table, series tagging, and views for both Technovation and Technoventure workflows.

guest pipeline & outreach

built a tiered guest list targeting the Forbes Midas List. coordinated scheduling, outreach templates, and tracking system.

launch strategy & promotion

designed a two-part premiere timed with Technovation's milestone Episode 1000. created a detailed promotion calendar across LinkedIn, cross-series mentions, trailer, and guest amplification.

Technoventure launched in August 2025 as a brand-aligned expansion of the Technovation ecosystem. the series debuted with interviews from top-tier VCs, a distinct brand identity validated by external partners, and a cross-promotion strategy that leveraged the Ep. 1000 milestone for maximum visibility.

the launch proved that a new series could be built strategically within an existing media operation without starting from zero on audience, infrastructure, or brand equity.
